Stonefruit and strawberry, with a hint of sap and spice. The palate is soft and textural with sour stonefruit and sherbert. Super fine tannins and a fresh acid.

Bright and textural the 2020 Chenin Blanc has loads of character. Refreshing and slightly off dry (4g/L), with loads of florals and citrus fruit expression. Perfect for summer!!

A reprise from the dry-farmed Petane Station vineyard in Eskdale, a cooler, coastal subregion of Hawke’s Bay. Despite being a touch drier than the 2019 (7.5g/L rather than 9g/L), this nevertheless manages to taste fruitier and more decadent than its predecessor. Hayden’s choice of aromatic yeast for this fermentation has really ramped up the fruit expression to 11. It is a Pinot Gris lovers’ Pinot Gris while keeping things light and drinkable at 12.5% abv. For those who are seeking a classically varietal, pear and honey, off-dry Pinot Gris, this will bring much comfort and joy.
